ABOUT ME

I have been a voiceover artist for almost ten years and am based in London.

My voice is warm, friendly and professional with an RP (Received Pronunciation) accent.

Some previous projects include TV commercials, charity videos, radio, corporate and business, animation, e-learning, games and more.

HANDY THINGS TO KNOW

I have my own studio where I record and edit.

I can deliver raw or fully edited tracks.

I use a studio that offers ISDN/Skype link-up and an on-site engineer for clients who prefer live direction.

Alexa was fantastic. She did a voiceover for me for a UN industrial development film and beautifully combined the serious tone needed for the background information about Liberia, and the more familiar tone needed for later parts of the film. A consummate professional and a pleasure to work with, I cannot recommend her highly enough.
— Bex Singleton - filmmaker for UNIDO
Alexa’s voiceover work was outstanding. We worked together on a series of films for Save the Children on abused children in Bangladesh and Zanzibar. She added depth and concerned urgency to the storytelling without sentimentality or sensationalism, which was exactly the tone we discussed in the brief. She is brilliant at suggesting changes to the script to make the story and voiceover flow better.
— Mats Lignell - filmmaker for Save the Children
Alexa is super professional and dedicated to her craft, yet she never lets that stop her sense of humour from shining through. This only added to making our scripts so much better. Given the chance we’d work with her again in a heartbeat.
— Adam Roberts & James Lightbown - director & producer of Captain Fawcett films
Alexa was very professional and helpful in every part of the process. Highly recommended!
— Tobias Fälthammar - Acando

I also work as a writer and can help develop your script, or write a full script from scratch based on your brief.

Alexa’s scripts for our Just Giving projects were the perfect feel and tone. We couldn’t be happier with what she wrote and her voiceover delivery.

I can turn clunky or formal translations into everyday language, with an injection of British humour.

I also work as an actor on film, TV and stage.

Recent work has varied from a Star Trek fan film to blockbuster Now You See Me 2.

Other projects include Channel 4's A Moment of Horror, independent feature Night Bus, and award-winning shorts Sub Rosa and Room 55.
